This Cookie Notice explains the cookies and similar technologies we use across focusedzen.com (our marketing site), app.focusedzen.com (the app), and auth.focusedzen.com (sign-in). It is part of our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential to run a service; others, like analytics, are optional. “Similar technologies” includes local storage that works the same way.
2. The app and sign-in (app.focusedzen.com, auth.focusedzen.com)
When you use the app or sign in, we set only the cookies needed to keep you securely signed in. These are strictly necessary, so they do not need consent and cannot be turned off without breaking sign-in.

We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies in the app, so there is no consent banner there.
3. The marketing site (focusedzen.com)
Our marketing site uses one optional analytics tool and one security tool:

Google Analytics loads only after you accept it. When you first visit, you can accept or decline analytics, and you can change your choice later. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.
Cloudflare Turnstile runs to protect our forms from bots. We treat it as a privacy choice rather than assuming it is essential, and limit it to where it is needed to deliver a feature you are using.
4. Managing cookies
You can accept or decline optional cookies on our marketing site, and change your choice at any time. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly-necessary sign-in cookies will stop the app from working.
We do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you use a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control signal and that ever becomes relevant, we will honour it.
5. Mobile app
Our mobile app does not use advertising identifiers and does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt, because we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
6. Changes
We will update this Notice as our cookie use changes. The effective date above shows the last update.
